I was in education for 16 years and even though it was super stressful and I faced a lot of uphill battles trying to fight for a better experience for the kids and my staff, I thought I was stuck in that career because I had over $100,000 off student loan debt and over a decade of experience in education and nothing else. I had to quit a job mid school year to save my sanity which led to my then-boyfriend selling his house to move in with me (my house was bigger) and help me with my bills while I took a break from administration. That led to us flipping a cabin, a sweet agent telling me to get a license and sell it myself, and another agent telling me to buy Zillow leads, and me selling 54 homes my first year in real estate. Then in 2021, my interview on Real Estate Rockstars was the most downloaded episode which led to me organizing their first ever mastermind and speaking on stage for the first time. Life is crazy and beautiful.
